The «Ken Dala 2» Program is implemented in the Republic of Kazakhstan and is aimed at providing preferential financing to agribusiness entities for spring fieldwork and harvesting operations.
The Program provides for:
- financing of agribusiness entities (hereinafter referred to as agribusiness entities or end borrowers) to replenish working capital for spring fieldwork and harvesting operations in 2026 (excluding winter crops);
- financing of end borrowers — processing enterprises — to replenish working capital for the subsequent financing of agricultural producers — agribusiness entities — by providing advance payments for the purchase of crop products for spring fieldwork and harvesting operations in 2026 (excluding winter crops).
Guarantee
In order to expand access to financing, JSC «Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund» (hereinafter referred to as JSC «DAMU«) provides guarantees covering up to 85% of the loan amount in the event of insufficient collateral.
The maximum loan amount for which a guarantee may be provided by JSC «DAMU» is up to KZT 1,500,000,000 (one billion five hundred million tenge).
Loan security shall be provided as follows:
- collateral amounting to at least 15% of the loan amount and meeting the requirements of JSC «SEC «KOKSHE«;
- or 100% collateral coverage with property.
Main terms of the Program:
- interest rate - 5% per annum;
- loan term - until February 1, 2027.
Repayment schedule:
principal:
- 50% - by November 10, 2026;
- 50% - by February 1, 2027;
interest:
- 50% - by November 10, 2026;
- 50% - by February 1, 2027.
Requirements for borrowers:
- at least 3 years of experience in the industry;
- availability of cultivated land (owned or leased);
- no overdue loan payments during the past 24 months;
- no status as a distressed borrower.
